Pella Maltabes, a Gladstone based business-woman sits at the helm of a group of like-minded women who have come together to support The Fred Hollows Foundation.

‘For the Sight of Others’ has been formed to raise up to $250,000 for Foundation projects in Vietnam and Cambodia. “The aim is not only to raise up to $250,000 but to put Gladstone on the map and bring the community together,” Mrs Maltabes said. “The response (so far) has been gob smacking, from every sector.”

‘For the Sight of Others’ launched in April 2008 their fundraising activities in Gladstone with the support of Gabi Hollows.
