Record results for 2008
The Fred Hollows Foundation has released its results for 2008, with a record 176,472 people receiving sight-saving eye operations and treatments and over 1.3 million patients being screened in 18 countries worldwide. Find out more

Major milestone in blindness prevention
The World Health Organization has formally endorsed the WHO Action Plan for the Prevention of Avoidable Blindness and Visual Impairment. This endorsement is a major step on the path to achieving The Foundation's aims of ending avoidable blindness by 2020. Find out more
