2008 Walkley Awards finalist

A photo essay featuring the work of The Fred Hollows Foundation in Vietnam has been nominated as a finalist in the 2008 Walkley Awards for Journalism.

The photo series, taken by Sydney Morning Herald photographer Brendan Esposito, is one of three finalists in the ‘Photographic Essay’ category.

Along with other finalists, Brendan Esposito’s photos will be shown at the Australian Centre for Photography in Sydney from the 31st October – 15th November. Exhibition dates in other states will follow.

The Walkley Awards are the premier Australian accolade for excellence in journalism, with the winners being announced in Melbourne in late November.
