Major Supporters

The Fred Hollows Foundation would like to sincerely thank the many companies, organisations, community organisations, and trust and foundation’s for their generous support.

This invaluable support helps The Foundation to reduce costs, operate more efficiently and grow our services, so we can work even harder to restore sight and change lives.

Corporate Partners and Major Supporters

Everything that The Fred Hollows Foundation achieves is only possible through the incredible generosity of our supporters - those who give of themselves so that others may have a better life.

Whether they be individuals, volunteers, corporations, philanthropists, families, workplaces or service clubs - every dollar donated to The Foundation ends up making a real difference to someone's life. That's because for as little as $25, sight can be restored in many countries in which we work.

A sincere and heartfelt thank you to:

Trusts and Foundations

The Foundation would like to thank the various trusts and foundations who have generously supported us in the past and recent years. Your support is very significant and enables us to provide vital services to more people in need.

Stiftung Nord-Sud is a Swiss Foundation which has been a long term supporter of The Foundation's program in China. Their funding helps build the capacity of local doctors, nurses and hospital administrators to provide high quality, high volume cataract surgery to disadvantaged people in Jiangxi Province at prices that are affordable.

The Westpac Foundation has supported the development of a scoping study into literacy options for the Jawoyn communities in the region east of Katherine in the Northern Territory. Westpac also matches the gifts of employees who donate via payroll deduction.

Standard Chartered Bank launched Seeing is Believing, one of their major global community programs in 2003 to raise funds to tackle avoidable blindness. The goal is to raise enough funds to restore sight to one million people, through 12 flagship projects in Bangladesh, India, Kenya, Pakistan, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Standard Chartered Bank supports The Fred Hollows Foundation with funding for a program to improve blindness prevention in six districts in the Quang Nam province of Vietnam.
