Stephen Lennard, a fearless fundraiser for The Fred Hollows Foundation, spent his 2007 New Year triumphantly returning down the side of the 6,962m peak, Mount Aconcagua in Argentina.

This was Stephen's third attempt on the world's tallest mountain outside of the Himalayan region, and now safely back in Australia, Stephen remarkably has only suffered mild frostbite on his fingers.

Whilst a personal goal, Stephen Lennard climbed Aconcagua to raise awareness and funds for The Fred Hollows Foundation.

We look forward to catching up with Mr Lennard very soon to find out more about his incredible adventure so please return to this page soon to find out more.

On behalf of all of us at The Foundation, thank you Stephen and congratulations!
