Workplace Giving allows employees the opportunity to have a significant and lasting impact on the work of The Fred Hollows Foundation through a direct pre-tax donation from their pay.
In Australia, Workplace Giving now generates approximately $20 million in donations to not-for-profit organisations every year. Based on international benchmarks, we have a long way to go! If just 1 in 10 working Australians made a payroll donation of $5 each week, not-for-profits would benefit from an additional $260 million each year!
Workplace Giving is becoming an increasingly popular way to make a donation, with immediate benefits for all involved.

Already Set Up?
If your organisation already has a Workplace Giving Program, and you'd like to include The Fred Hollows Foundation as a recipient, please contact us.
The Foundation can provide regular updates on the benefits of your donations, materials for distribution such as newsletters and reports, and acknowledgements for the support of individual employees. The Foundation is available to assist in the development of your Program, from launch to maturity.
Recent in-depth research conducted by a leading intermediary in Workplace Giving, has shown that the number one motivation for employee participation in Workplace Giving is the fact that their employer matches donations.
As well as being a powerful trigger for getting your employees involved, matched giving is a great way to demonstrate organisational commitment to the Workplace Giving program, and to provide enhanced benefits to your community partners.

The Foundation is pleased to announce that we've recently joined forces with JB Hi-Fi, one of Australasia's fastest growing and largest retailers of home entertainment.
The Foundation became a partner in JB Hi-Fi's workplace giving program, Helping Hands, in December 2009. The Helping Hands program donates over $800,000 in total each year to its eight charity partners, with JB Hi-Fi matching staff contributions dollar for dollar.
The Foundation receives over $3,500 every month from JB Hi-Fi and its staff in support of our work in Indigenous Australia, demonstrating a shared commitment to close the gap in the life expectancy between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
Through a series of interrelated projects including nutrition, literacy, eye health, aural health, women's health and community engagement, The Foundation is able to tackle the underlying causes of health inequity . Just like Fred, we're about getting on with the job and getting results, but The Foundation's successes are only possible with the help of our supporters.
Thank you JB Hi-Fi - you are helping us make a real difference in Indigenous Australia.
