AusAID

AusAID (Australian Agency for International Development ) is the Australian Government agency responsible for managing Australia’s overseas aid program.

Its aim is to help developing countries reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development, in line with Australia’s national interest.

AusAID has helped fund The Fred Hollows Foundation’s programs in countries where we work. Most recently this funding has come through AusAID’s Fighting Avoidable Blindness initiative, which aims “to address eye health and vision care needs in Asia and the Pacific”.

What we can do

Help keep Fred’s dream alive.

4 out of 5 people who are blind in the developing world don't need to be. Routine treatment costing as little as $25 can restore sight and hope.
