Regular Giving and Development Specialist

Working as part of our Marketing and Fundraising team, and reporting into the National Direct Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for managing the national regular giving acquisition campaigns, upgrades and retention programs. This includes overseeing The Foundation's telemarketing, Face 2 Face programs and some areas of online fundraising. In this critical position, you will be responsible for project managing other fundraising campaigns and programs that aid development of our supporters and donors. This is a strategic position in which your ability to manage multiple projects, account manage and think critically will be essential.

To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in planning and implementing regular giving programs, specifically within telemarketing and Face 2 Face programs. You will have a good track record in managing multiple accounts and working with budgets. You will be an excellent project manager have outstanding attention to detail and the ability to utilise database marketing to inform campaign strategies. In addition, you will work with the highest level of integrity and have a passion for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience within the NGO sector would be highly desirable.

Media and Advocacy Specialist

  • Internationally focused Media and Public relations position
  • Develop and implement media strategies that make a real difference
  • Undertake assignments requiring international and national travel

Working as part of our award winning Communications and Community Education team, this position will focus on raising the public profile of The Foundation within national and international media. As the Media and Advocacy specialist you will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering The Foundation’s proactive and reactive news and media relations, to help deliver on The Foundation’s organisational goals – ending avoidable blindness and improving Indigenous health.

To be successful in this position we are seeking someone with previous experience in a hands-on media or public relations role.  The successful candidate must have established media contacts in national and international media, along with outstanding written and oral communications skills.  In addition to this you will be a multi-task extraordinaire, with an acute eye for detail and the ability to deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment.  Your positive outlook and genuine passion for building and maintaining relationships will be critical to your success in this role.

Digital Specialist

  • A newly created position to drive innovation in online communication
  • A specialist communications role focusing on developing and implementing digital initiatives
  • Success in this role will result in more people being able to see and more work undertaken to improve Indigenous health – use your online skills for good

Working as part of our award winning Communications and Community Education team, this position will drive the growth of The Foundation’s online audience and income.  Working in partnership with the Foundation’s online strategy specialist, you will be responsible for implementing our digital communications strategy; managing digital channels and content to ensure we deliver a powerful and consistent supporter experience.  You’ll be working with a motivated and experienced team with an ambitious strategy and growth targets to match.

To be successful in this position we are seeking a digital communicator with a track record of success in managing and implementing digital and social media campaigns. You will be a creative thinker with well developed skills in managing online advertising campaigns, and ECRM programs aimed at customer engagement, acquisition and retention. Partnership Executive – Major Donor & Corporate Partnerships

Working as part of our Marketing and Fundraising team, this position will assist in driving the development and growth of The Foundation’s important Major Donor and Corporate Partnerships program across Australia. Reporting to the Senior Executive – Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase major donor and corporate partner income for The Foundation. 

To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in account managing high-value donors/clients or related transferable experience at a senior level.  You will have exceptional communication skills, including persuasive and negotiating abilities, effective listening, diplomacy and tact. You will have a passion for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders combined with the ability to deliver results in the short, medium and long-term.  In addition to your relationship management skills, your excellent analytical skills will be essential to ensuring you can contribute significantly to long term strategic plans and goals.

Development Effectiveness Manager

Reporting to the Director of Programs you will support programming activities across 19 Countries in Africa and Asia.  You will be responsible for developing a programming approach that continuously orients to outcomes, impact and results; with the aim to continuously refine and deepen The Foundation's theory of change, and its application in our programming and advocacy work.

In this role you will be responsible for leading and implementing a new Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning approach to ensure we use an evidence based approach for program design and management. Through the design and implementation of innovative tools and processes your skills and expertise will ensure we can improve the effectiveness of our current programs, whilst helping to shape our thinking for future program design, enabling greater accountability to all stakeholders and ensuring we have systems, processes and practice that allow us to hold, develop, and share knowledge across The Foundation and improve programme quality.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in leading organisational wide Monitoring and Evaluation processes, including the production of performance management tools, monitoring frameworks and plans.  You will have outstanding analytical and evaluation skills with the ability to produce strategic documents and reports.  Your experience working within the International Development sector along with your ability to influence will be critical to your success in this role, as will your ability to lead and develop a team of program professionals.

The ability to travel internationally is essential.

Supporter Retention Specialist
