2UE Radio Appeal supports The Foundation

Thanks to everyone who supported the 2UE Radio Appeal!

On the day of the appeal (22nd December) presenters Stuart Bocking, Tim Webster, Tracey Spicer, Prue MacSween and John Stanley encouraged 2UE listeners to give the gift of sight this Christmas.

We need your help to carry on Fred's work. Photo: Michael AmendoliaFred’s wife Gabi Hollows, The Foundation’s CEO Brian Doolan and high profile supporters such as Ray Martin were interviewed throughout the day about the life changing work of The Foundation.

2UE invited its listeners to call in to the station where a team of Fred Hollows staff and volunteers manned the phones to take donations. There were live crosses to the phone room throughout the day, and Gabi and others took calls from listeners.

It was great to see so many 2UE listeners getting behind this special event.

All donations big and small will help The Fred Hollows Foundation restore sight and change lives.

Thank you so much for your support!

What we can do

Help keep Fred’s dream alive.

3 out of 4 people who are blind in the developing world don't need to be. Routine treatment costing as little as $25 can restore sight and hope.
