Photographs and case studies are a great way to consolidate an area of study, and help to stimulate discussion in your classroom or community. Our photo display boards outline areas and case studies from our program areas in Indigenous Australia and around the world. See sample photo display.
'In Fred's Footsteps' is a beautiful photo exhibition that has been put together specifically for schools who want to find out more about The Foundation's work.
The exhibition includes 27 beautiful photos which look at Fred Hollows and The Foundation's work in Australia, Kenya and Nepal.
These photos can be used to enhance your fundraising activities, incorporated into classroom activities or display them in the school library or foyer to raise awareness and show your school's support for The Foundation.
The exhibition can be used to explore the issues of poverty, children and blindness and the health of Indigenous Australians.
We would like to hear your feedback on our teacher resources, how you used them, and their effectiveness in teaching your students.
If you have an idea for a lesson plan or would like to help develop a lesson plan for The Fred Hollows Foundation we would also like to hear from you.
Please contact the Community Education Coordinator if your school is interested in borrowing the photo exhibition,
